K8 and I will be making even more crafty appearance with homespun and dyed yarn and totes and tins in tow. I bet we'll be lucky enough to get *actual summer weather* as well... we'll be sitting outside all day for each of these! don't forget the SPF 45!
Sunday June 5, 10 AM to 6 PM - the Mount Pleasant Festival DIRECTIONS: The festival is on Mount Pleasant Street between Irving St and Park Rd. Mount Pleasant is a seven-minute walk west of the Columbia Heights Metro Station on the Green Line. Mount Pleasant is also served by the the 42 and H buses (check with WMATA for re-routing on the day of the festival), and is just a block west of the S bus lines.
Saturday June 11, 11 AM to 7 PM - the Takoma Park Jazzfest. Metro to Takoma!
