craft fairy
Kate and I are doing a craft fair in a couple of weeks- for
visions in feminism. It's a fundraiser for a conference they are having in May. From their website:

Saturday April 23, 1-6pm
$2, at the Nyumburu Cultural Center, University of Maryland
DJs will be spinning while you browse crafsters' creations and search for treasure in other people's junk.

It should be a fun time. In preparation, we've been spinning like mad and knitting silly little things, like pouches:

We'll have tons of handspun and whatnot as well- hoping at least some of the people there knit! So come and hang out some and see some local craftspeople..
