  a pink sort of day!
I am outgrowing my condo with all this darn yarn! Am pondering how to deal with the future - wondering if my parents wouldn't like some yarn to store for me? hehe. At least, this week I got rid of some yarn! 43 skeins of pink yarn! Gah! Actually, it is for something fun - a sock club for yarn4socks! It's holiday-themed, even. The designer is pink lemon twist. Super fun. Here's the shade, mangled a little with my old camera:

Actually, it sort of matches what my garden is producing in abundance lately... I am almost wishing I had planted more (almost!) as they are actually pretty tasty, and put off buying from the supermarket just a little longer.

Lovely radishes! I've been making a radish salad that is super tasty. Some olive oil, vinegar, honey, spices. It's not as spicy as raw radishes. Yum! I also still have nearly a dozen red and yellow peppers to get through - I will so miss these when they are gone! I can't get enough pepper!! Next year I hope to plant more! :)

And yarn! From SAFF. That one I won (woot!) It's from Blonde Chicken Boutique, who was awesome and brought prizes for the ravelry meetup. Super nice! It was great to meet her! Her shop is majorly eco-friendly, and reminds me that I need to try harder to seek out more friendly sources for my yarns! The yarn is lovely - organic merino. So darn soft!

I like the pink color way. And have you tried cooking radishes? There are several recipes out there that sound good. And maybe next year, you can go a few other varieties. French Breakfast is nice and tasty.
