surprises in the post
So I apparently got myself a subscription to a design magazine sometime in the hazy last couple of months.
POPLife Magazine. Looks interesting!
Finally some photos, in backwards order of completeness...

Cupcakes. YUM! How fancy a way to make myself NOT pig out on cake when we have cake in the house! I only eat one at a time! Except for monday, when I had a cupcake for breakfast (didn't share, either, tsk tsk), a cupcake at lunch, and then went to a meeting where we had a slice of cake to celebrate summer birthdays! Oops. Yay for cake. (At least I walked to the meeting, huh?!)

Here's another of the superbulky merino series. Loving them! That is all. 230 or so yards?

I wish I had a window in my bathroom that let in better light... this scarf is super fun colors and superfun yarn. I am just not sure how long to make it.

(From one of these skeins)

I got a couple pounds of superwash fiber with the last batch of yarn... I'm looking forward to some handspun socks this winter! :)
Okay, off to do some laundry and packing and whatnot in preparation for the beach! Wonder how many projects I can finish? I'll reveal next week! On the list to bring:
- red brook farms cabled mitt (will finish at least up to thumbs fer sure; they go fast)
- orange pumpkin hat - baby sized, 70% done already
- pinwheel blanket- will get through maybe another couple of mini-skein colors? (so dull!)
- superbulky mitts - one to go; super fast. Need needles from baby flap hat
- baby flap hat - ran out of yarn! need to spin more in another color, or go with the random flow.
will bring extra yarn for:
- superbulky adult hat (hopefully < 75 yards or one skein?)
- a scarf. Must knit scarves, no matter how dull!
- mitts. really, can't have enough!
